I was hoping to see some cool San Diego shots...and I get the aeronautical museum is as good as it gets. My fav museum in Balboa park...
DUDE- I saw the other day that the north east end of Balboa Park has a shoe tree in it....ever seen it? I haven't yet...but I'm a big shoe tree fan!

Wow. I had no idea you guys all tromped through J-Tree in the middle of winter...see any climbers?? looks a bit cold....but at least you can camp at Hidden Valley!!!! haha.
I remember wanting to climb something and having to wade through the snowbank to get the first moves! It gets cold out in the desert....

The two needles to the left (south) of Whitney...One has a route called the "Harding Route." 10c and gnarbuckle

Base Camp
The climber area base camp under the hill. Great place to stage climbs from. You can do several routes on Whit...the Keeler, or head over to Russel from here.
